About Josh Payne
Hi. Welcome to my blog. I’m a software professional and as of June, 2010 I moved to a new company — HubSpot — working in the Product organization there.
Before HubSpot, I worked in product marketing at IBM in the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) group. I’ve spent my entire career in software, many of those working in the field of content analytics, content classification and enterprise search.
This blog originally focused on content classification, content classification and ECM. But with the move to HubSpot, I expect its scope to broaden to other topics in software and technology.
I live in the Boston area (Newton, MA) with two wonderful little kids and a wife who is way smarter than me. I love to ski, play golf, cook and run. Usually, my day revolves around figuring out how to to incorporate those four activities in with my family. They all like to eat, so that’s the usual intersection.
