Originally I started a blog focused on content analytics and content classification. But my professional focus has shifted from Enterprise Content Management to other interests. With this change, the topics covered here are likely to range farther afield, though focused on my interests around software, technology and my professional adventures. I hope you’ll join me in this adventure.
Where did the name “Unstructured Thoughts” come from?
With my original focus on content classification and content analytics for the first incarnation of this blog, calling the blog (un)structured was a play on words. It represented the fact that content analytics, broadly, was the process of added structure to unstructured information.
I liked the name because it meant something within the context of content analytics, but also could mean other things to other people. With my current exit from the Enterprise Content Management world, I’ll keep the name, but broaden the scope of the blog.
